THE ROLE
Reporting to a Project Engineer and working closely with the Contract Administrator & Site Manager, you will manage specific elements of the project to ensure a successful delivery. Your duties will include;
- Review construction drawings and technical specifications
- Assist with tender negotiations, variations & contract admin
- Coordinate & manage subcontractors
- Document control of drawings between site teams, subcontractors, and consultants
- Preparation of work scopes and technical documentation
- Administration of contractor's progress claims and variations
- Ensure projects are tracked and managed in accordance with quality, program and budget
- Cost reporting
- Assist with management of all onsite operations
YOU - Experience working for a head contractor builder
- Project Planning: Assist in the development of project plans, timelines, and budgets.
- Coordination: Coordinate activities between various teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth project execution.
- Documentation: Maintain project documentation, including contracts, permits, and change orders.
- Communication: Serve as a point of contact for all stakeholders, keeping them informed about project progress, issues, and changes.
- Quality Control: Monitor work quality and compliance with project specifications and industry standards.
- Scheduling: Assist in scheduling project activities and milestones to meet deadlines.
- Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with safety regulations and implement appropriate safety measures on-site.
