Positioned in the CBD alongsie the mojority of your projects, this national D&C commercial fitout firm are seeking a Project Coordinator to join them on some exciting projects!

Their key projects include office fitouts, building lobbies, end of trip facilities & high end spec suites. THE ROLE
Reporting to a Project Engineer and working closely with the Contract Administrator & Site Manager, you will manage specific elements of the project to ensure a successful delivery. Your duties will include;
  • Review construction drawings and technical specifications
  • Assist with tender negotiations, variations & contract admin 
  • Coordinate & manage subcontractors 
  • Document control of drawings between site teams, subcontractors, and consultants 
  • Preparation of work scopes and technical documentation
  • Administration of contractor's progress claims and variations
  • Ensure projects are tracked and managed in accordance with quality, program and budget
  • Cost reporting 
  • Assist with management of all onsite operations 
YOU
  • Experience working for a head contractor builder
  • Project Planning: Assist in the development of project plans, timelines, and budgets.
  • Coordination: Coordinate activities between various teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Documentation: Maintain project documentation, including contracts, permits, and change orders.
  • Communication: Serve as a point of contact for all stakeholders, keeping them informed about project progress, issues, and changes.
  • Quality Control: Monitor work quality and compliance with project specifications and industry standards.
  • Scheduling: Assist in scheduling project activities and milestones to meet deadlines.
  • Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with safety regulations and implement appropriate safety measures on-site.
